Have I got the bloddy Swine flu or what?

I was so happy last Saturday when kids n their dad got to go friends birthday party, cuz I had home all to my self. But I guess I was in big scary surprise next day...when my husband started complaining having a headache, body pain n loss of appetite..so I gave him some Motrin, but as day passes he had bit of fever too!
he passed the night with pain...I was thinking at night that I will send him to the doctor next day.Boy O boy have I got even bigger surprise waiting for me in the morning or what...

Both my daughters came to my room with complaint of having headache n sore throat,30 minutes later my son with same complaint...so I call the their pediatric doctor...she advise me to do home remedy like honey, ginger and haldi tea to sooth their throat(she is an Indian doctor)..so I did..they all were very unhappy with the taste...but with mom's order they couldn't say no to me..as the day passes...at night they all have high fever like between the range of 102f. to 104f. I was giving them Motrin every 4 hours...but this fever would take 45 minutes to go down n withing the hour it would come back.whole night in the living room I made all 4 of their bed n started puting cold strips to their head n also their hands n legs to realesed the pressure of fever...it helped till the morning.

By the morning I was exhausted n aching for some power nap,but I can't afford to take rest..I called the doctor n told her that I am bringing my kids to her clinic.she said just wait in your car when you arrived cuz we can't let you in with you all exposed to might be "Swine flu".I understood.I called them once we reached there. The nurse came right away with her tools n did the swab swipe in kids nose.she again came back after 10 minutes with the bed news that yes they all have flu.I asked her is it flu or H1N1 flu...she said it will only determine with the blood test, but doctor came back with her mask n gloves on hand...check every one n told me that we don't have to go to hospital but home with the prescription "Tami flu".I gave every one their water bottle n told then to drink that every hour or PRN(as needed)that's the only wise thing you can do if you don't want to go to hospital when you running a high fever..make sure you keep your patient hydrate, cool n calm.
Cleanliness is important too! After gave them their medicine I put them to their bed n started do their laundry, cleaned whole house again with Clorox tissue.I made them chicken noodle soup n grilled cheez sandwich which of course they didn't like(not that my cooking is worst but with feverish mouth their tongue couldn't recognize the taste). The next day both my daughters had sever cough n with that they started vomiting...again I called the doctor n she told me these are the all symptoms of the swine flu so I gave then cough syrup.that seemed to helped them but body ache n headache was constant...I guess with flu if you have bacterial you can get treated faster with anti bacterial medicine..but this type of viral infection it's hard to get anti viral medicine...(all you can do is treat the side symptoms)n half the time you won't know if it is going to work or not.(you just have to wait n let the virus run it's own course)I think I have lost 5 pounds so far...but today they all feel better.just a little bit cough but they are OK with that.Thank God!!

I was so relieved n happy at same time that I didn't get this flu...but I have to bite my tongue...last night my throat was bit scratchy n paining, this morning I couldn't get out of my bed n all shivering with cold...n in 30 minutes I had fever of 102f. I knew I had their flu,so my husband went to pharmacy n filled my prescription n gave me the med. too!

I hope this flu go away faster like it came n attacked all of us at same time...Today is second day of this flu to me n fever is breaking, everyone is taking care of me...feeling so good already...just my body ache n headache goes faster...thank god I don't have bad cough like them but bite my tongue don't wanna jinx it by saying it...I never wished anyone to have this diseases..it is so miserable n painful...like it's gonna break you apart inside n out.

Get a great body in 5 steps!!!

Here are some interesting exercises that can be done at home easily without any equipment. Also you can do it wherever you want!

Do one to three sets of each exercise, with eight to 15 repetitions per set.

Step 1: The warm up

Leg lifts: Stand with your feet apart at hip width. Place your hands on your hips. Bend both knees slightly and shift most of your weight onto your left leg.

Keeping your knee slightly bent, lift your right leg up and out to the side, about six inches. Lower to the original position. Repeat with the right leg, then with the left.

Arm curls: Use hand weights or dumbbells. Hold a weight in each hand, arms at your sides, palms facing forward.

Stand with your feet apart at hip width, knees slightly bent. Curl the weights up to your shoulders, then lower to the original position.

Step 2: Stretch exercises

Hamstring stretch: Lie on the floor and stretch your legs. Raise your left leg, using a towel to assist, until you feel the tension in your hamstring. Hold. Repeat on other side.

Inner thigh stretches: Sit on floor; place the soles of your feet together. Drop your knees toward floor. Gradually, lower your torso towards the floor until you feel a gentle tension in your inner thighs. Release.

Modified hurdler: Sit on floor, right leg extended, left foot against the right knee. Lower your torso and reach for your ankle until your hamstring feels tight. Repeat on other side.

Step 3: Floor exercises

Crunches: Lie on the floor with your feet hip width apart. Cradle your head in your hands without lacing your fingers together and with your elbows pointed slightly inward.

Tilt your chin a little bit toward your chest and pull your abdominal muscles in. Exhale through your mouth as you curl your head, neck and shoulders up off the floor. Hold this position for a moment, then inhale as you return to your original position.

Squats: Stand tall with your feet apart at hip width, with your weight slightly back on your heels. Place your hands on your hips. Sit back and down as if you're sitting into a chair directly behind you. Lower as far as you can without leaning your upper body more than a few inches forward (this depends on your flexibility and your build).

If you can bend your knees far enough so that your thighs are parallel to the floor, stop. Don't allow your knees to travel out in front of your toes. Once you feel your upper body fold forward over your thighs, straighten your legs and stand up. Take care not to lock your knees as you complete the movement.

Push-ups: Lie on your stomach. Bend your knees and cross your ankles. Bend your elbows and place your palms on the floor, in front of your shoulders and a bit to the side. Straighten your arms and lift your body so you are balanced on your palms and knees.

Tuck your chin a few inches towards your chest so that your forehead faces the floor. Tighten your abdominal muscles. Bend your elbows and lower your entire body at once. Rather than trying to touch your chest to the floor, lower until your upper arms are parallel to the floor. Push back up.

Step 4: Stretching exercises

Dips: Sit at the edge of the desk or on a sturdy chair. Place your hands with the palms facing your body. Slide yourself off the seat and support yourself with just with your hands. Slowly lower yourself by bending your elbows until your upper arms are parallel to the floor, and then press yourself back.

Lunges: Stretch your legs a stride's distance apart. Slowly bend your knees until you are in a kneeling position with your knees not quite touching the floor. Don't look down; don't allow your knees to shoot out past your toes. Return to your original position.

Step 5: Face exercises

~ Tilt your head backwards. Let your upper lip cover your lower lip. Maintain the posture as you curl your tongue up inside the mouth and press it against your upper palette. Then smile.

~ This exercise helps to get rid of furrows and lines on the forehead. All you have to do is lift the eyebrows upward and open your eyes wider with each count.

~ Place the entire thumb inside your mouth, between the teeth of the upper jaw and the upper lip. Press the upper lip back into the teeth so that your thumb is squeezed.

Hello friends...

OK!So looks like I have been told that I have taken some break from blog world...well as usual my life is full of chaos n too many responsibility towards my business n my kids...but lately I am being isolated from my own blog world is I am trying too hard not to dwell in my own sorrow n follow my own advice to relax...

One of my friend who just pour her heart out to me about her boyfriend how they got so close in 3 months n then it come out heartbroken...which make me think again why people think they are in love n when desire n expectation doesn't meet then all hell breaks loose. She told me how it got broken their so called relationship.."it's more then sad,It's sinful, really,to turn away someone who loves you because you don't want to spoil your routine."

so people My advice to all of you n me is live your life as you see it fits to your surroundings...Try to help people if you can, don't speak bad about anybody if you can't speak good about them...Hey I can be silly n write this but you don't have to listen to me if you don't want to...I will still like you n love you as I have before so have a great time n do response me what you think n feel free to pour your thoughts in my blog...I would love to see you all in here.

see you again!

Don't be sad when I die....

Friends this poem is written by my youngest daughter Krupa...she is very creative and energetic little doll to me...so full of life, always thinking something new in little brain of hers.Hope you like her poem about life's bitter truth...though she is perfectly healthy..don't get her wrong!

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to comfort you,
Please know that I still love you,
Cause I know you love me too.

When tomorrow starts without me,
And you feel lost and blue,
I hope these words I’ve written
Will help to see you through.

Someday your pain will ease,
Sadness replaced by fond memories
Come tomorrow you will hear
I love you in the breeze.

When tomorrow starts without me
Cause god has called me home
I turn, blowing a kiss for thee
Sad that you may feel alone.

I will miss you tomorrow
As I take one last glimpse
A tear falls from my cheek
I’ll be going home.

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to comfort you,
Please know that I still love you,
Cause I know you love me too.
I know you love me too. . .

"The male is a domestic animal which, if treated with firmness and kindness, can be trained to do most things."
